About Sikeston, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Situated in northern New Madrid County and southern Scott County, in the state of Missouri, Sikeston is a city with an estimated population of more than 41,200 residents. The principal city of Scott County, and a part of the Sikeston Micropolitan Area, it is the fourth most populous city in the eighth Congressional district of Missouri.
In 1803, this area was acquired by the United States under the Louisiana Purchase, and this brought more Americans to the west of the river. The land for Sikeston was first owned by Francis Paquette, a Frenchman, and by 1829, the site was purchased by the Stallcup family. In 1859, the founder of Sikeston, John Sikes, married into the Stallcup family and gained ownership of the land.
As of today, Sikeston is one of the best places to live in the state of Missouri. Not only does it have a wonderful assortment of restaurants to choose from, including Mexican, American and Oriental cuisines, but also it is home to a number of specialty shops, outlet stores, antique stores and shopping centers for your “retail therapy” needs.
There are also many historical and cultural sites situated throughout the city, such as the Sikeston Public Library, Veterans Park, The Sikeston Depot - Cultural Center & Museum, as well as Southeast Missouri Agriculture Museum & Granny’s Antiques, among various others. Moreover, there are several parks that feature picnic pavilions, playground equipment, and sports facilities as well as other amenities.
As far as education is concerned, the city has a variety of schooling and higher education options available that serve the city. Some of the schools situated in the area include Sikeston Senior High School, The Sikeston Career & Technology Center, Mounds School, Morehouse High School, among various others. Medical care, on the other hand, is provided by the Missouri Delta Medical Center, which is also one of the biggest employers in the city, hiring more than 600 healthcare providers.

With the average high in the summer months about 92 degrees, having a reliable air conditioning system is crucial to lower the temperature levels in your home.
